This source code, of Eclipse Evolution, has tons of new features and optimization changes. Anything and everything can be changed with these files. They are only recomended for heavily experienced users that are experienced with Visual Basic 6 programming. These files cannot be used unless you have a fully licensed copy of Visual Basic 6. Visual Basic.net will not run these files and cannot be converted. If you are new to Eclipse this is not what you are looking for.

This is Eclipse Evolution as it was when i handed it back to the rest of the development team over a year ago suped up with a new GUI i did for this release along with bugfixes and a few minor functionality additions. It is stable and was stable for the months i used it as part of my genesis server. All critical bugs i'm aware of have been fixed.

Its a cool release with a lot of stable, functional features. It includes almost all the scripting commands i have seen used anywhere else on the forum (since i wrote most the new EE ones except those relating to later features).

Hope this is helpful for those of you out there who are sick to death of the bugs that i see plaguing people.

[NOTABLE BUGS FIXED AND MAJOR FEATURES]

* Graphics Encryption
* MP3 support
* Scripted Arenas
* Advanced Scripting Powers (including speech bubbles to map, custom menus etc)
* Bundling of data files with client. no need for library files, just client.
* Scrolling Maps had a really weird display issue.
* Scrolling maps display scripted spellanims at right coords
* Scrolling maps have no issues now
* News page updates from server
* MASSIVE cpu usage reduction (1/3 of previous, 86%-25%))
* Fixes Display bugs in editors and main game
* Removed Resolution system because it sucks balls
* Fixed all Paperdoll Display bugs


[BUGS NOT FIXED]

* Speech bubbles have dodginess on edge of map
* Killing an NPC makes the spell effect not show

* Fixed Random Functions
* Added set time feature
* Removed dysfunctional server buttons
* Improved security on certain parses
* All Data handling features of conversation / quest / comment system completed, Editor mostly finished.
* Rewritten display code to allow rescaling of picUber for larger menus as part of Interface overhaul.
* Redesigned Main GUI
* Redefined main display area. its a midway between scrolling and non scrolling, found scrolling had some serious issues with source code over complication. Means next version will probably need its own release as it wont be backwards compatible for maps. Price of progress i think.
* Scripting Added : getmapnpcx, getmapnpcy commands
* Added fix to include function for scripts, thanks to the_best_flash for how to fix it
* Many Server buttons didn't work (never implemented properly?) so they were removed until functional code can be provided for them.
